I'm a UX/UI and graphic designer based in the vibrant city of Manchester, but my roots trace back to the enchanting landscapes of Scotland, specifically the bonny banks of the river Forth.
Picture me, fueled by a drive for creativity, pursuing a degree in Fine Art and soaking up inspiration from every corner of the art world. But life's twists and turns led me to explore human behavior through psychology and even dabble in the world of sales, before I ultimately found my way back to my true calling: design.
Recently completing my Diploma in UX Design, I'm on a mission to blend my playful yet meticulous approach into creating designs that not only pop but resonate deeply with users.
When I'm not pushing pixels and wireframing, you'll catch me whipping up a storm in the kitchen, pounding the pavements on a run, struggling on the football pitch, or lost in a canvas with a brush in hand. Let's bring some magic to the digital world together!
After earning my degree, I delved deeper into the world of design by enrolling in a professional diploma course with the UX Institute. Over the course of 8 intensive months, I honed my design fundamentals and mastered the intricacies of the UX process, benefiting from lectures by industry luminaries like Don Norman. Armed with this newfound expertise, I am now eagerly pursuing opportunities to apply my skills in the industry. Before I entered into UX Design, I gained valuable experience as a designer for Represent Comms, an Edinburgh-based Public Relations firm, where I collaborated on diverse projects and refined my design prowess in a fast-paced environment. Drawing from my background as a Painter and Printmaker, I bring a strong foundation in visual arts and design fundamentals to my work, infusing each project with creativity and flair.
I'm always open to new projects and opportunities ...
